One of the very first social bookmarking sites that I ever saw was reddit. Reddit has been around for a couple of years I guess but I have found some really cool stuff there and much of it is not tech related.
Lately I have found that there are right wing and left wing political crowds that have taken over Reddit and I do not like seeing them take over my beloved site. There are better ways to do the whole political thing and that is by making posts on weblogs and tracking back or commenting on other political weblogs.
Do not steal social bookmarking sites by gaming them for your agenda!
The best way for us to take back Reddit and any other bookmarking site is to mod down these stories and mod up stories that are interesting to us. Get involved i your favorite sites or someone else will and ruin it for you.
